Script synopsis

In a remote, rain-soaked town, Naomi, ignores a storm warning from her ex-husband Quentin. On her way home from the grocery store, she encounters a terrified young woman, Jessica, who claims someone is trying to kill her. Naomi offers her refuge, unknowingly inviting danger into her home. The threat comes in the form of Greggory Fisher, a ruthless hitman sent by his mafia boss to eliminate Jessica, a witness to a crime. As Greggory attempts to break into Naomi’s house, the suspense escalates. The climax of “But The Storm Never Came” leaves viewers on edge, wondering if both women will survive the hitman’s deadly mission.

He is a master of his trade, employing cunning tactics and lethal skills to get the job done. Fisher is relentless and unyielding, stopping at nothing to achieve his mission, regardless of the consequences or the lives at stake. Emotionally detached and devoid of empathy, he sees his targets as nothing more than obstacles to be eliminated. Jessica (Melissa Darling)

Jessica is a stunning woman in her 30s who finds herself in the midst of a dangerous situation. Placed under witness protection after witnessing a murder, she must now testify in a high-stakes case against the mob. Seeking refuge in a small town, Jessica is constantly on edge, knowing that a killer is hot on her trail. To maintain a low profile, she adopts a new identity, pretending to be from a wealthy family with bodyguards surrounding her. Unbeknownst to the townspeople, these “bodyguards” are actually federal agents assigned to protect her. Despite the constant fear and pressure, Jessica remains resilient and resourceful, using her intelligence and quick thinking to navigate the treacherous path she finds herself on. As the story unfolds, Jessica’s strength and determination shine through as she fights to stay alive and bring justice to those responsible for the crime she witnessed.

QUENTIN (Raul Vasquez)

Quentin is a dedicated and responsible man who serves as the ex-husband to Naomi and holds the position of sheriff in the small town. Despite their past relationship, Quentin remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the townsfolk. As a storm approaches, he takes on the crucial task of organizing and coordinating the evacuation efforts, working tirelessly to get everyone to safety. Quentin’s experience and knowledge of the town make him a trusted figure in times of crisis, and he uses his authority to guide and assist the community. Despite the challenges and the strained relationship with Naomi, Quentin’s sense of duty and commitment to protecting others shines through as he selflessly puts the needs of the townspeople above his own.

He recently produced and directed an American short horror film Guest House. He has alsoproduced and directed two Hindi televisionepisodes entitled ‘Trishanku’ which were bought by Sony in India. Vince wrote and directed Hindi short stories for the Indian television channels. He also directed an American television movie called ‘Sonny’. Vince has been producing and directing Indian television show ‘India Spotlight’ for the last 20 years. India Spotlight is currently aired in Sacramento, CA. He is extremely resourceful and creative. Vince is committed to making entertaining and meaningful movies that people want to watch… more than once.
